Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Ranger – EV Route Planner (the “App”).

We Collect No Personal Information

We do not collect, use, save, or have access to any of your personal data recorded in the App.

Individual settings relating to the App are not personal and are stored only on your device(s).

App Analytics

To help us better understand how people use our apps and to continue improving them, we use analytics information provided by App Store Connect. This service provides us with some generic usage, transaction, and other statistics that are completely anonymous and cannot personally identify you in any way.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the Mapbox Maps SDK for iOS to display maps and calculate routes. By default, this SDK collects de-identified location and usage data, known as Mapbox Telemetry, to improve its services. This data is collected automatically unless you choose to opt out.

An opt-out option is available through the Mapbox attribution button displayed on the map within the App. If you choose to opt out, Mapbox will cease collecting telemetry data. For more details on what data Mapbox collects and how it is used, please refer to the Mapbox Privacy Policy.

We do not control or have access to any personal data collected by Mapbox.

Location Services

If you grant the App permission to access your device’s location, it will use this information to provide route planning and navigation features. Your location data is used solely for these purposes and is not stored or transmitted by us.
